I grew up in the small town of a Lincoln, just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. I started climbing when I was about eleven and have been obsessed with climbing ever since. Throughout high school, I had a successful competitive career and was the Youth Climbing Champion for my age group in 2008 and 2009 and was the Pan American Champion in 2008.
In 2009, I moved to British Colombia to begin studies in Behavioral Ecology and Conservation Biology at Quest University in Squamish. For the past four years, I have been able to successfully balance my university education as well as my climbing goals and have excelled at both.
Since beginning university, I have achieved my personal bests in my climbing career with numerous ascents up to 5.15a/9a+ and V13/8b. I am now twenty-three years old and have recently graduated from university and for the first time, have the opportunity to commit fully to climbing.
